Also, I’m not a publicity hound, any non-proprietary code I write tends to just stay in my own private space.  Never mind that I’ve mostly been focused on leading teams for the last 7 or so years…

But here’s some stuff I’ve worked on in the past:

• PHP developer since the beginning of the century
• Submitted one of the first anonymous login modules for Apache circa 1995
• Built the first global email system for the Dept. of Commerce in 1995 (70k employees, 130-ish countries, 1700 mail systems)
• Wrote Linux drivers for proprietary HW on the Fujitsu P1110
• Build the first Starbucks website (1998) & wrote code for fix their tax tables…
• Engineered a scalable open source stack for the largest network of music fan sites (300+, 5th highest traffic on net in 2001)
• Re-launched the Linux Foundation and built a long-term roadmap source
• Worked on open sourcing the Facebook platform (circa 2006), specifically looking at licensing vs business issues
• Worked on open source strategy for 50+ venture backed startups & 20+ global 1000 companies
• Built a small dev team at Earthster.io, porting a standalone webapp to AWS & HTML5 (2012)

I’ve also hacked hardware, including building data logging for race cars and access control systems.

If you’re still reading, I’ve also lived in 7 different countries, speak 5 languages, 3 fluently, have two nationalities (USA & France) and lived for 17 years in Europe.
